Merrimac Subsidiary Filtran Microcircuits Receives ISO 9002 Certification

WEST CALDWELL, NJ (April 19, 2001) - Merrimac Industries, Inc. (AMEX: MRM), a leader in the design and manufacture of RF Microwave components, assemblies and Micro-Multifunction (MMFM®) Modules, today announced that Factory Mutual Research has awarded the ISO 9002 Certification to Merrimac's subsidiary Filtran Microcircuits Inc. The ISO 9002 Certification verifies that Filtran complies with the internationally recognized standard for Quality Systems and the Model for Quality Assurance in Production, Installation, and Servicing.
