Senior Design Engineer
Reports to: Engineering Group Manager
Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):
- Support engineering and manufacturing with timely, complete and accurate
design drawings and ensure the design book is complete prior to release to
manufacturing.
- Provide the objectives and suggested approaches to projects for Design Engineers and Junior Engineers
- Provide rapid response needed to make ECNs, drawing corrections, etc. to
support the document release requirement and design improvements.
- Recommend changes to processes, procedures, and equipment to continually
improve the quality of output.
- Act as mentor to Design Engineers and Junior Engineers for various design
and technical issues as required.
- Ability to perform all of the duties of the Design Engineer as required.
Requirements:
Education:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related dicipline. Master's degree preferred.
Experience: 8 - 10+ years of related RF Microwave design experience. Preferably 5 years designing Merrimac products. Excellent communications
skills both verbal and written. Ability to work as a member of an engineering team and motivate/instruct other members when necessary
